Where

After looking at a number of places, we (of course) chose the first place we saw, the lovely, organic, working farm South Farm Barn, to host our wedding.

It is situated in a village called Shingay-cum-Wendy (yes, we did partly choose it for the name!) on the Cambridgeshire / Hertfordshire border between the towns of Cambridge and Royston. Click here for a map.

One of the reasons we chose South Farm is for its relaxed country atmosphere. If we are lucky enough to have good weather on the day, we may be able to get married in the garden, so do bring shoes that you don’t mind getting a bit muddy (I fully intend to bring both wellies and flipflops to cater for all eventualities!) and perhaps something warm for if it gets a little chilly.
